FAQ’s
What can I do to help my student succeed?
Most importantly ask them “what did you learn today”? They did learn something I promise, and taking the time to remember it and explain it to you is the best way for them to recall and then internalize what they learned. Make them teach you something every day!
Check their notebook or binder – EVERY thing we do in class is stored there so you can get a good idea of what they are learning, a part of this class is being organized and taking notes, you should see this!!
Will they have homework?
They should be reading or taking notes EVERY night, if they finish early there are always vocabulary note cards to be filling out or reviewing (instructions for these will be posted).
Should we buy review/cram books?
They are optional, however, I do recommend the book by Ethel Wood, available on Amazon.
How should we contact you?
Please feel free to email me at anytime.
